About Jeric

Jeric Peña is an eighteen-year-old blogger and a second year college student at the University of the Philippines Open University. Aside from being a blogger and a student, he also works as a freelance graphic designer and a contributing writer for Pinoy Parazzi.

He studied nursery at In Jesus’ Care Learning Center from the years 1994-1996. It was in 1996 when he entered Notre Dame of Greater Manila in Caloocan City, Philippines wherein he studied Kinder One to Fourth Year High School. He graduated from high school last March 2008 with a loyalty award and an Excellence in ICT medal.

Jeric has been blogging since 2003. In 2005, he started producing audio podcast shows. His first audio podcast show was Jeric’s Confessions (2005) followed by Brink Notes Podcast (2007), Pinoy Idol Podcast (2008) and Brink Notes Entertainment Daily Podcast (2009). His podcast, Brink Notes Entertainment Daily Podcast was awarded as the Best Podcast during the 2009 Philippine Blog Awards. In 2007, he started video blogging at Jeric on the Tube. It was in late 2008 that he started writing for blogs such as Chikadora, Brink Notes Entertainment Daily and Tech Blog in the Philippines. Currently, he maintains a couple of blogs such as Distance Education in the Philippines, Just Jeric, and So Sick of Taxi to name a few.
